Industrial interior design is inspired by repurposed factories from the Industrial Revolution. At its core, industrial interior design relies on incorporating building materials into the room. Exposed rafters, reclaimed wood, iron, brick, concrete, all are staples within this style. Through the usage of materials and textures, we bring the overall design together by promoting a utilitarian cohesion in the overall aesthetics, like using unpolished stone for the basins and metal grids for the cabinets.
Our client wanted their BTO to look more spacious. Using a minimalistic philosophy, we utilized concrete for all the floors and walls to give an illusion of space as well as an open floor-plan. While keeping to the industrial-style, we kept the number of accessories to a minimum.
